IAS 1 and IAS 2 training: Master first aid for effective responses

The IAS 1 and IAS 2 training courses prepare you to respond effectively to emergencies, such as ailments, serious injuries and accidents, by following the X-ABCDE protocols. The IAS 1 training covers the basics of first aid: securing the scene, assessing a casualty, controlling bleeding and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). It also includes techniques such as putting the victim in a lateral safety position (LSP).

IAS 2 SafetyFirst training takes these skills further, with advanced management of severe trauma and the use of specialist equipment such as glucometers, blood pressure cuffs (or sphygmomanometers) and cervical collars. Available in French-speaking Switzerland, these training courses combine theory and practice to enhance your skills and ensure the safety of those around you.

Fire training from SafetyFirst in French-speaking Switzerland prepares your teams to react effectively to a fire outbreak while reinforcing prevention. Participants learn to use essential equipment such as water, Light Water™ (AFFF) or CO2 fire extinguishers, understand fire detection systems and identify safe evacuation routes.

Two variations are offered:

  1. Use of fire extinguishers for practical exercises.
  2. Intervention with theatrical fire and smoke, simulating realistic and safe conditions that comply with AEAI standards, for an immersive experience with no pollutant emissions.

Sessions include implementation of the fire protection plan and key concepts such as fire compartmentation. An optional first aid module incorporates first aid procedures for a complete training course.

Ideal for companies in Vaud, Geneva, Fribourg and beyond, this training ensures employee safety and compliance with Swiss standards.

Evacuation training prepares your employees for a quick and organised evacuation in the event of an emergency. Learn to master the steps of an effective evacuation plan, to locate the rescue channels and follow the instructions for a secure assembly point.

Our sessions include practical exercises to train guides-file and serres-file, ensuring complete control of evacuation flows. You will also be trained in the recognition of photoluminescent signage and the importance of safety lighting to guide occupants.

By incorporating these skills, your teams will be able to react calmly and effectively, minimising the risks associated with disasters. Perfectly suited to companies in the cantons of Vaud, Geneva, Neuchâtel and more, these training courses ensure comprehensive preparation in line with Swiss standards.

The initial occupational health and safety audit from SafetyFirst assesses and optimises your organisation according to the requirements of the MSST system and the CFST 6508 directive, guaranteeing compliance with Swiss legal obligations. Our experts carry out a in-depth risk analysis, identifying potential hazards, checking existing prevention measures, emergency procedures and legal compliance.

A detailed report with a prioritised action plan is provided to eliminate non-conformities and strengthen your processes. The audit encourages a sustainable safety culture and incorporates continuous improvement, ensuring optimum protection for your employees
